To support the government's program targeting 1 million vaccines per day, Katingan Mentaya Project collaborate with Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Air & Water Police Unit (Satpolairud) of East Kotawaringin in providing vaccination point for local communities in Hantipan Village. This activity was attended by Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Dedy Prasetyo.

This collaboration was warmly welcomed by villagers. Wimpi Aries Zona, KMP Health and Safety Manager said that vaccination to Hantipan Village communities aims to protect fishermen and farmers from the Covid-19 virus. "We try to reach as many people as possible, especially those who live in remote areas and difficult to reach due to limited transportation," he said. "We also distributed food packages to village communities, in total we distributed more than 250 food packages," explained Wimpi. He mentioned that the government's program related to the acceleration of Covid-19 vaccination was a top priority for the project.
On the same occasion, Central Kalimantan Police Regional Chief, expressed his gratitude to all parties involved in this activity "All relevant parties, including the government, Indonesian Police, Indonesian National Army and Katingan Mentaya Project, work together and unite to prevent the Covid-19 virus spread, especially in East Kotawaringin Regency," said the Central Kalimantan Police Chief.
