In commemoration of the 8th anniversary of PT. Rimba Makmur Utama, the company held Volleyball and Badminton Tournament RMU Cup 2021 in Pulau Hanaut District.
This sports tournament is the first tournament ever held in Hanaut, it was opened the head of the District, Sufiansyah, on October 7 th , 2021.

In his remarks, Sufiansyah, positively welcomed and appreciated the sport event. "This tournament, apart from celebrating the 8 th years of PT. Rimba Makmur Utama, is also a place to discover talented athletes to represent Pulau Hanaut District in preparation of Provincial Sport Week in 2023," said Sufiansyah. Meanwhile, Katingan Mentaya Project Regional, Muhammad Galigo Trinanto said that Volleyball and Badminton Tournament RMU Cup 2021 could only be participated by Palau Hanaut District residents. "Residents are very enthusiastic about participating in this RMU Cup 2021 Tournament, however as it held during Covid-19, we have to limit the number of participants," he explained. He hopes that by RMU Cup 2021 Tournament, Pulau Hanaut community can get to know more about people at the RMU. "In addition, we also want to capture and look for talented young athletes in this tournament, to promote and introduce the district and their athletes," said Galigo.
