As the pandemic continues to rage on, KMP distributed medical supplies and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the local Provincial Police Force in Central Kalimantan.
On Wednesday, February 10th 2021, Provincial Police Force in Central Kalimantan received 10,000 medical supplies and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from Katingan Mentaya Project in order to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the area and help protect local healthcare workers. Of the Personal Protective Equipment donated, KMP had supplied local frontline workers with face masks, face shields, and hand sanitizer.

The aid was directly sent to police headquarters at Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan, by Katingan Mentaya Project General Manager, Taryono Darusman, and was received by the Head of Police, Irjen Pol. Dr. Dedi Prasetyo. Along with medical supplies and PPE, KMP donated 600 tree seedlings to be planted around Palangkaraya’s police headquarters. “The support given is proof of Katingan Mentaya Project’s concern in handling the pandemic,” said Prasetyo.
