Yet another internationally-acknowledged accolade has been awarded to RMU

YPO, the global leadership community of more than 30,000 chief executives in 142 countries, announced our CEO Dharsono Hartono as the recipient of the organization’s 2022 Global Impact Award. The YPO Global Impact Award is YPO’s highest honor to members that recognizes their impact outside of YPO, celebrating CEO impact that is both sustainable and scalable.

“Dharsono and his efforts in Indonesia are an inspiration to us all within the YPO community,” said YPO CEO Xavier Mufraggi. “Not only is he making an impressive impact on the environment, he is finding long-term solutions for local communities and building a new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.”

Dharsono said, “It is an honor for me the receive the 2022 Global Impact Award. When my partner, Rezal Kusumaatmadja, and I founded RMU 15 years ago, we had this big dream of a world economy that puts Earth and People first. As the concept of nature-based solution enterprise was little known in Indonesia back then, our journey was undoubtedly full of big challenges. Now, 15 years later, I am happy to say that RMU, together with our partners, is many steps closer towards achieving our goal: contributing to a more sustainable, equitable Indonesia and the world. Katingan Mentaya Project is a proof that Nature-Based Solution company can combat climate change by doing real actions that positively impact the ecosystems of climate, community and biodiversity.”

Dharsono was selected from honorees representing YPO’s regions around the world.
